Recap of Pride Activities in the Atlantic

Special thanks to various PSAC committees and our PSAC-Atlantic Director for GLBT members, Wayne Kelley, for having ensured a strong PSAC presence at various pride parades in the Atlantic Region.  This year, we participated in the following pride parades:

Moncton, NB

Halifax, Yarmouth and Amherst, Pictou County and Sydney, NS

Charlottetown, PEI

St. John’s, NL

In order to maximize our funds dedicated to pride activities and to have a greater presence as a labour delegation, in future pride parades PSAC will be participating under the umbrella of the Federations of Labour.  Imagine how impressive it would be if all unions walked under the same group instead of being broken down by individual unions.
