NB - International Human Rights Day

To highlight the International Human Rights Day, once again members of the Greater Moncton Human Rights committee came together to volunteer at a local based soup kitchen this year.  They spend the day helping out at the Karing Kitchen to prepare and serve lunch to members of the community at no cost.  «Karing Kitchen is about "providing a nutritious hot meal, ensuring food security and advocating for a person's rights and responsibilities.» says Coordinator Melissa King.

The Greater Moncton Human Rights committee also provided the Karing Kitchen with a cheque to help them continue to do they work they do in the community which is in line with the committee focus.
