PSAC members at Moncton International Airport ratify new agreement

On February 15, members of UCTE local 60605 who work at the Greater Moncton International Airport voted 100% in favour of a tentative agreement with the airport authority.

“I would like to congratulate the negotiating team on their accomplishment,” said Jeannie Baldwin, PSAC Atlantic Regional Executive Vice-President.

The 5 year contract includes enhancements to the pension plan, a wage increase, some additional allowances and improvements to bereavement leave.

“We are proud of this agreement and of the relationship we have built with the employer,” said Baldwin.  “We look forward to continuing to work together in the spirit fairness.”

PSAC negotiates on behalf of workers at large and small airports across the country, including those in Moncton, Saint John, Frederictonand St. John’s, NL.

Local 60605 members provide operational services, including runway clearing, buildings and equipment upkeep, fire, security and emergency services, as well as administrative and billing services.
