PSAC members continue with their monthly mobilizing activities
ST. JOHN’S, NL – Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members have been organizing various activities on the 19th of every month in order to raise awareness on the upcoming federal election and the need to have a government that stands up for Canadians and the services they depend on.
“Since May of this year, our members have been raising awareness on the upcoming federal election and the importance of public services ’’says Tony Tilley, President of the National Health Union, a component of PSAC. He also adds: “We need to have a government that focuses on delivering quality public services. As we are currently bargaining with Treasury Board, our focus is on strengthening public services, for Canadians today and for future generations. Our objective is to negotiate collective agreements that will help make the public service a healthy and productive place to work.”
WHEN: Monday, October 20th at 12:00 p.m. to 12:19 p.m.
WHERE: Service Canada Centre, 223 Churchill Avenue, St. John’s, NL
Ryan Cleary, Member of Parliament for St. John’s South – Mount Pearl will also be in attendance.
