On Saturday, July 21st PSAC members marched in the St. John’s Pride Parade wearing “We are ALL affected” t-shirts. There was a record turnout as hundreds marched through downtown St. John’s to show their support for the LGBTQ community. The slogan for the march was “You are not alone” to demonstrate support for youth who face homophobia and who may have less access to the LGBTQ population. Before the parade began there were many speakers including Gerry Rogers (MHA St. John's Centre) and Ryan Cleary (MP St. John's South - Mount Pearl) of the NDP. The event was a huge success; the city was bursting with enthusiasm and pride.
