PUBLIC SERVICE WEEK - PEI

On June 19th, various locals across PEI held their own events for National Public Service Week.   UTE 90006 hosted a day of action in Summerside with the theme  "Planting for a brighter future on October 19th". They handed out seedlings and collected signatures on the Tony Clement petition.   UVAE 90001 members served hot dogs, french fries, apples and granola bars at their event where they signed petitions and gathered donations for the food bank.    UTE 90002 held a BBQ for their event where members were given RESPECT stickers, buttons, and signed petitions. CEIU 90152 held an appreciation luncheon for their members also distributing buttons and stickers and gathering signatures on petitions.
