PSAC members took part in Scott Brison's annual BBQ. They took this opportunity to discuss Phoenix, bargaining with Treasury Board and the need to protect public service jobs.

Members of UVEA 90001 in Charlottetown are no strangers to collecting food for the local food bank. They did so during National Public Service Week.

Organized during National Public Service Week 2018 to put a face on public service workers that deliver quality public services to Canadians.      

CEIU Local 90113 is comprised of approximately 330 members and their one of the largest CEIU locals in Newfoundland and Labrador. Their members work in St. John’s and Placentia. They provide government benefits such as employment insurance, Canada pension plan and old age security to clients all across Canada.

National Public Service Week (NPSW) was created in 1992 to recognize the value of the services rendered by federal public service employees and to acknowledge the contribution of federal public service employees to the federal administration.  While public service workers are still not getting paid correctly, they still show up to work every day to deliver quality public services to Canadians. How will this government recognize its workers during the week of June 10-16 when it can’t even pay them correctly?

AGR Local 90001 is comprised of approximately 70 members.  The local is made up of members from both the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC).

Sisters and Brothers, This is to advise you that because of circumstances beyond our control, we have no choice but to relocate our Regional Office currently located at 614 North River Road, Suite D, in Charlottetown. The current lease that the Charlottetown Regional Office presently occupies ends May 31, 2018 and the landlord has decided not to renew the lease to the PSAC as they need this location for other purposes.

The Union of Taxation Employees Local 80004 is comprised of just over 100 members.  This Local is located in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and are employed with the Canada Revenue Agency.  They work in the field of collections, compliance and audit.
