Our Parks bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with the Agency February 16, 2018, which the team unanimously recommends. The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be holding an electronic vote for members of the Parks Canada Agency to ratify the tentative agreement between PSAC and Parks Canada.

Meetings will be held by webinar for all members, in addition to face-to-face meetings organized in some regions.

Congratulations to Shanny Doucet for receiving the Woman in Leadership Award 2018 by the New Brunswick Federation of Labour.  The award was presented to her by our Regional Executive Vice-President, Colleen Coffey on February 17.

UNE Local 90023 is comprised of about 75 members. Their members work at various Parks Canada locations across Prince Edward Island, primarily along the North Shore, and in Charlottetown. Their day-to-day job consists of protecting and presenting Canada's natural and cultural resources and this takes a varied team of people. Aside from advocating on behalf of their members, they also play a vital role in their communities and society as a whole.
