Unionism on Turtle Island

 

PSAC Atlantic invites both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal members from the four Atlantic Provinces to apply for this five-day in-residence course.  The goal of this training is to increase the representation of aboriginal workers in our workplaces and aboriginal activists in our union through the creation of a welcoming, inclusive and discrimination free-environment.  An application form is forthcoming.

2017 Union Development Program, (English East)

 

The Union Development Program (UDP) is an intensive education program designed to develop the leadership skills of emerging union activists over ten months. The English East UDP is being hosted this year by the National Capital Region and will include members from Ontario, the NCR, Quebec and the Atlantic.  The UDP has six mandatory steps which includes three face-to-face gatherings and a variety of other learning methods including a mentorship program, on-line events and individual action projects.
