Despite all the magic of social media, letters still pack a serious punch. A letter to the editor, to an MP, to your municipal councilor can make important inroads. PSAC members know more than almost anyone about the public services we provide, and we are best equipped to speak up and write up when these services are under attack.

Sister Catherine,
It is my absolute pleasure to be writing you on behalf of our 18,000 members in the Atlantic Region to offer you our sincerest congratulations on your appointment to the Order of Canada.
For those of us who had the pleasure of meeting you last Fall, we all felt pride as we know you deserve this special recognition. You are a wonderful person and because of your leadership, you made it possible for our Atlantic Council Members to learn about your traditions and importance of the drum. It truly was a pleasure to learn from you.
Your commitment and dedication towards the Aboriginal Peoples of Canada will have long lasting positive impacts for generations to come. We will be honoured to have the privilege of working with you again on various events in the future.
Once again, our most sincere congratulations on this special recognition.
