PSAC Atlantic is proud to announce that it is working with the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour and its affiliates on a campaign to elect a pro-worker majority in the House of Assembly.

Members of the PSAC/STUSAU local 60701 (St Thomas University) are now at the conciliation stage in the bargaining of their first collective agreement.  They had a mobilization BBQ on August 27th thanking their members for their support so far and to show the Employer the work is not over yet!  Solidarity for ever...all the way!!

The goal of the course is to build a better union, better work places and a better society by encouraging and supporting active PSAC women in their struggle for fairness, equality and social justice.

PSAC members were joined by Jeannie Baldwin, PSAC Atlantic REVP and some members from the TG Moncton in the Moncton Pride parade on August 24th, 2013.

The River of Pride Moncton are doing excellent work in the organizing of activities each year. This year, the parade was on the Saturday instead of the Sunday as usual and it was more family oriented.

Thank you to all participants!

After more than two years of protracted and often difficult negotiations, the TC Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement with Treasury Board.  Find your ratification kit and much more information here
