PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS ORGANIZE THEIR 17th CONSECUTIVE AND FINAL RALLY

ST. JOHN’S, NL –Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) National President Robyn Benson will join PSAC members to rally participation in the general federal election.

Are you passionate about standing up for unions and workers’ rights?  Do you believe in fairness, social justice and human rights?  Are you active in your union and interested in deepening your activist knowledge and skills?

The Union Development Program (UDP) is an opportunity for you to prepare yourself to assume leadership roles in your union and in the broader labour and social justice movements.

Monday September 7th was a beautiful day as 20 PSAC members and staff joined in the Halifax Labour Day March & Picnic.  The march started at Victoria Park after listening to several rousing speeches and the Labour sounds of SOLIDARIGLEE and then marched to the South Commons for a free BBQ, face painting, balloon animals by our own Milo the Clown (UNDE 80407), and the musical unionized sounds of Joe Murphy.
