April 18th,2015, Summerside UTE Local 90006 Local members took part in a national day of action in support of a fair contract. They asked their members to show support to their bargaining team by wearing bright yellow Tshirts and plant gated  650+ handouts asking members to support the bargaining team. The handout also included a letter from PSAC President Robyn Benson "We Will Protect Our Sick Leave".

PEI’s fourteenth Annual Provincial Day of Mourning for workers killed an injured on the job was held April 28th at Memorial Hall, Confederation Centre. 

A piper led the group to the memorial monument where wreaths were laid in remembrance.    The PEI Area Council, UVAE, and UTE Locals were among the many present.

Federal Budget Day and Budget Watch

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - In conjunction with the Council of Canadians, the PEI Health Coalition and the McKillop Center for Social Justice, PSAC Atlantic will be holding a budget watch in Charlottetown, PE. 

WHAT: After watching the budget presentation, representatives from PSAC Atlantic and local community groups will be available to speak to the media.
