Sister Baldwin advised that a PSAC Action Plan is being developed that will bring us through to the next Federal Election and into the PSAC Triennial Convention in 2015.
All PSAC members in the Atlantic Region will be contacted by phone on Wednesday, January 15, and asked to join a live and interactive telephone town hall meeting with regards to Bill C-4, particularly on Health & Safety and Collective Bargaining.

On-Line Registration: After much discussion with IT it has been decided to forgoe online Convention Registration.
Council Committee Reports: Preparation for the Regional Council Committee Reports has been underway by some committees and will continue during the committee meetings at the February Council Meeting. The committee reports will provide a review of the committees’ work and accomplishments during the 2011-2014 cycle.
Directors Reports: Reports for the Convention will provide a review of the work and activities each Director has carried out during the 2011-2014 cycle. Such reports will be due early April; deadline has not yet been determined.

Any suggestions with regards to budgeting input can be submitted to Katie and will be taken into consideration by the finance committee. The budget prepared by the finance committee at their meeting will be brought and dicsussed at the February Council Meeting.
3. Council Update
Election for NL Provincial Director: The election is underway. The first ballot will be tallied on Monday January 13th. An extension to receive the ballots has been provided as NL has been experiencing bad weather, thus mail delivery slowing down. The election of the first Provincial Director for NL should be determined shortly, however, the second election will likely not be completed until after the February Council Meeting has concluded.
Sister Baldwin thanked everyone for their particpation.
The teleconference adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
