Federal Government Employees Rally Asking the Government to Fix the Phoenix Pay System

MONCTON, NB – Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) employed by the Government of Canada will be rallying during National Public Service Week (NPSW) asking the government to fix the Phoenix Pay System.

NPSW will be held from June 11 to 17,2017. The event marks the importance of federal public service employees and to recognize their service to Canadians.  Federal public service workers are proudly committed to providing the services Canadians depend on. Yet thousands are still having financial troubles because they are not being paid correctly or on time.

WHAT: Rally asking the Government of Canada to fix the Phoenix Pay System

WHEN: Monday, June 12, at 12:00 PM

WHERE: Fisheries and Oceans Canada, 343 Université Avenue,Moncton, NB

Speakers will include PSAC members affected by the Phoenix Pay System as well as Jeannie Baldwin (English), Regional Executive Vice-President of PSAC’s Atlantic Region and Isabelle Forest (French), Chairperson of PSAC’s Greater Moncton Area Council.
