PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS ORGANIZE THEIR 15th CONSECUTIVE RALLY
ST. JOHN’S, NL – Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) will be joined by the National President of the Canada Employment Immigration Union (CEIU), Marco Angeli and local Members of Parliament, Ryan Cleary and Jack Harris, at their 15th consecutive rally aimed at raising awareness on the upcoming federal election set to take place on October 19.
Paula Whittle, National Vice-President Newfoundland and Labrador of CEIU explains why they organize a monthly activity: “We’ve been organizing these monthly rallies to raise awareness on the upcoming federal election and the need to elect a government that supports public services and the people who deliver them on a daily basis.”
Jeannie Baldwin, Regional Executive Vice-President of PSAC Atlantic, explains the determination of the members: “These members take their jobs very seriously. They only want the best for Canadians and that’s why they are working so hard to ensure that they have a new employer on October 19 who believes in providing quality public services.”
