Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada Rally to Denounce the Phoenix Pay System

SAINT JOHN, NB – Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) who are meeting at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre in Saint John, NB for their 7th Triennial PSAC-Atlantic Regional Convention will be organizing a march followed by a demo to demonstrate their frustrations in regards to the Phoenix Pay System.

Over 350 participants will be protesting the plagued Phoenix Pay System as thousands of public service workers have experience pay problems because of Phoenix.  Speakers will include Jeannie Baldwin, Regional Executive Vice-President for PSAC’s Atlantic Region, Robyn Benson, PSAC’s National President as well as members who have been negatively impacted by the pay system.

WHAT: Rally to Denounce the Phoenix Pay System

WHEN: Saturday, June 24, 2017

WHERE: The march will begin at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre, corner of Smythe Street and N Market Wharf continuing on N Market Wharf to end at the Loyalist Plaza where the demo will be taking place.
