Miramichiers want EI changes scrapped

MIRAMICHI, NB – The Committee Against EI Changes will hold a community information session on Monday, February 18, 2013, to discuss reforms to the Employment Insurance system that came into effect January 13, 2013.  he event will bring together concerned citizens, community groups, union members, EI activists and political leaders.  The event will provide information about the changes to the EI system, and how they stand to affect all of us. Presenters include Yvon Godin, NDP MP, Acadie-Bathurst, and Patrick Colford, from the Committee Against EI Changes.

Pressure has been mounting throughout the province and this public forum will build on that momentum.  New Brunswickers are daily showing their resolve to fight these changes on behalf of all working Canadians and their families.
