Phoenix pay system: Public Service Alliance of Canada available for media interviews

MIRAMICHI, NB– Robyn Benson, National President of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), and Donna Lackie, National President of the PSAC’s Government Services Union component, will be available today to give interviews and comment on the federal government’s pay system for federal public service employees.

PSAC represents compensation advisors and administrative staff at the government’s pay centre in Miramichi.

The implementation of the Phoenix pay system has caused major problems for federal public service workers including those at the pay centre.

Benson and Lackie are in Miramichi today for a special town hall meeting open only to PSAC members.
