PEI’s fourteenth Annual Provincial Day of Mourning for workers killed an injured on the job was held April 28th at Memorial Hall, Confederation Centre.  A piper led the group to the memorial monument where wreaths were laid in remembrance.    The PEI Area Council, UVAE, and UTE Locals were among the many present.

Need a bit more time to fill out your 2015 PSAC Atlantic School application? We’re extending the deadline to Friday, April 3, 2015. And remember! If you haven’t taken the Talking Union Basics course, but have some equivalent community or union experience, you are eligible to apply. Built around the theme Building our Union. Building our Power, the school will take place from May 27-31, 2015, in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. All costs related to attending are covered.
