Since the last meeting of Council I have been engaged in work with my new Component, Union of Environment Workers (UEW), reviewing H&S issues, as well as planning meetings for information on the severance pay outs due to the TC group.
I have been in contact with the local Area Council to establish a representative from local 60727.
Due to work commitments and training I have been very busy learning and absorbing local and regional issues for the Component.
Lastly, I attended the Miramichi Area Council meeting at NBCC where PSAC National Executive Vice-President, Brother Chris Aylward was in attendance.
