Sisters and Brothers,
I have personally sent a letter to every MP in our Region in regards to Bill C-27. I strongly encourage you to send our template letter to Bill Morneau, the Minister of Finance, telling him that Bill C-27, an Act to amend the Pension Benefits Standards Act, is an attack on the retirement security of workers.
If this Bill passes, I can guarantee you that all pension plans will be under attack by this government. We need to remind the liberal MPs that the Prime Minister himself promised in writing that defined benefit plans which have already been paid for by employees and pensioners, should not be retroactively changed into target benefit plans.
