As you know, the next federal election will be held on October 19, 2015. On the 19th of every month, we are asking our members to be creative in highlighting the number 19 such as: standing outside your workplace for 19 minutes, wearing a piece of clothing with the number 19 or coming up with the 19 best ways of getting rid of the Harper Conservative government.
-Our Sisters and Brothers of CEIU local 80226 from Sydney (NS) held a demo outside their workplace for 19 minutes during their lunch hour.
-Our Sisters and Brothers of CEIU local 90113 & 90117 in St. John's (NL) held a demo outside their workplace for 19 minutes during their lunch hour.
-Our Sisters and Brothers of USGE 60001 local held a demo outside their workplace for 19 minutes during their lunch hour AND created an awesome video listing 19 reasons why we need to STOP Harper! CLICK HERE to view the video.

-Our Sisters and Brother of UEW 90001 & 90002 in St. John's (NL) are promoting a 19 minute 'Health Break' every Friday over the lunch break.
