Greetings everyone:
The Host Committee of the 7th Triennial PSAC-Atlantic Regional Convention is pleased to welcome all of you to Saint John, NB. In order to make your Convention a memorable one, we have organized the following activities for your enjoyment during your stay in Saint John.
A “Cocktails with Council” will be held on Thursday, June 22nd from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm (optional) at the Trade & Convention Centre, Loyalist Hall with a cash bar and entertainment by Phil Kennedy.
On Friday, June 23rd from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, “Country Swing Meets City Bling” at the Trinity Royal, Delta Brunswick (optional). Plan to unwind and enjoy the piano player and sing along to your favorite tunes. There will be a cash bar and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. We will also have a black & white photo booth and decorative accessories, so come and join the fun in a relaxing atmosphere.
Saturday, June 24th we will be holding a “Tailgate Party”. We are replicating the event organized at the last Convention based on the tremendous amount of positive feedback we received from the participants. There will be an extravagant buffet for you to enjoy that will include an assortment of delicious BBQ favourites, a slider bar, a variety of food stations and an ice cream bar. Following dinner, you can dance the night away to lively music by “Papa Roxxy” at The Market Square Atrium from 7:00 pm to midnight (optional). Tickets are $25.00 per person and will be available at the Host Booth.
During the Convention, family members or friends can enjoy the sites of Saint John, Canada’s oldest incorporated city and downtown shopping. There are also many restaurants and other points of interest in the immediate hotel area, all within a short walk. More information will be provided at the host table that will be set up in the lobby of the Trade & Convention Centre.
We are looking forward to a great time and a productive Convention in Saint John.
