The Union of National Defence Employees (UNDE) Local 60303 is comprised of approximatively 625 members who work at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, and at Canadian Forces Reserve Units in Fredericton, Saint John, Bathurst NB as well as Charlottetown PEI.
These members work in a wide range of occupations which include labourers, firefighters, various skilled trades, administrative services, food services, technologists/technicians, linguists, computer programmers, logistics specialists, engineers, medical administrators, mathematicians, librarians, financial analysts, recreation / sports specialists, etc.
In their opinion, the main advantage of being part of a union is the solidarity amongst the members.
