Workers at the J. A. Douglas McCurdy Airport Rally for a Fair Collective Agreement

SYDNEY, NS – On December 6, members of the Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) Local 80807, a Component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), will be rallying at the Sydney/J. A. Douglas McCurdy Airport demanding that their employer negotiates a fair collective agreement now.

Anthony Valles, member of the PSAC Greater Moncton Human Rights committee saw an opportunity to invite other PSAC members of the Moncton region to participate in his CFIA workplace project when they organized the 12 days of Christmas.  A collection of items (non-perishable food and personal care items) to be given to the Food Depot Alimentaire to be distributed to those less fortunate in the community.
At his request, collection boxes were placed in the PSAC office and many members of the area responded very well to his invitation.

Read the ratification kit containing the details of the tentative agreement on our national website. We will also distribute the kits at the upcoming ratification vote meetings.
