Activists Organize Strolling Strong for Child Care Event In PEI

SUMMERSIDE, PEI – Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada’s Women’s Committee are organizing Strolling Strong for Child Care event in PEI in order to raise awareness on the need for a publicly funded, quality, non-profit child care system.

The Government of Canada’s Speech from the Throne, this autumn, has committed to building such a system. The realization of this commitment will go a long way to ensuring that women and parents of young children have better access to decent work.
