PSAC members in the Atlantic region highlighted the 4th anniversary of the Phoenix pay system and earned unprecedented media coverage. In Miramichi, members paid a respectful visit to the Member of Parliament for Miramichi – Grand Lake, Pat Finnigan. At the same time, approximately 75 members rallied at the main pay center in Miramichi. This demonstration was in no way directed at our PSAC/GSU members working at the Pay Center, to the contrary, this should have been seen as a show of support for the excellent work they are doing despite a system that is not working properly.

Four years later and we continue to get ‘phoenixed’. How are you being impacted now? Your pay has been affected? Experienced stress because of compensation-related issues? Affected your decision to seek or accept another position? Tell us!
