International Women's Day is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action promoting gender parity. Significant events are witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.

Despite the first real cold day of the Season, UNDE members in Gagetown did a good job to inform the public about the current campaign from PSAC/UNDE. When governments contract out public sector work to private companies, profits take priority over services, and everyone, except the corporate shareholders, ends up paying the price.
