Thank you to our regional committees who worked tirelessly in December in order to support society’s less fortunate.

On December 18, 2020, the PSAC Charlottetown Regional Women’s Committee donated four gift bags to Anderson House, the city’s women’s shelter. The bags contained gift cards to local stores to help the women buy something they might truly need for the holiday season. It was a small token meant to bring good cheer and a bit of dignity to these women undergoing such difficult times. On photo, Debi Buell, Chair, Michelle Neill, Treasurer and Valérie Quinn, Secretary, met at a safe distance to get the gift bags ready.

The PSAC Western PEI Women’s Committee did one last good deed before the new year: they surprised local women in Bloomfield and Tignish by assisting them with a portion of their groceries.
The committee wanted to reach out to women while giving them the freedom to buy special items that may be needed at that time of the year.
It was a great way for members to introduce their committee to local communities while providing much needed support.
