FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 9, 2016   Veterans Affairs Office in Sydney Re-Opens but Service Delivery Issues Remain at a Halt   SYDNEY, NS – On November 10, the Union of Veterans’ Affairs Employees (UVAE) and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) will hold a press conference following the opening of the Veterans Affairs Canada office in Sydney, NS.

We will be organizing a webinar on how to use MailChimp.  Many locals use MailChimp to distribute information to their members and we received a request to provide additional support on how to use this effective tool. Our Political Communications Officer, Sébastien Bezeau, will be delivering this one-hour training.   Please register here for the English webinar on Tuesdsay, November 29th at 7 PM (Atlantic time), 7:30 PM (Newfoundland and Labrador time).

Sisters and Brothers, Thank you for the support you have demonstrated to the PSAC members who work at the Pay centres and thank you for having voiced your concerns about Phoenix.  You sent letters to your local MPs, commented on social media and participated in various union events.  We all know the problem is with the pay system itself and not the workers.
