PSAC led the march to the Nova Scotia Legislature from the NS Federation of Labour to take part in the Nova Scotia Women, Together for Change rally on Monday November 5th. Sr Colleen Coffey, REVP Atlantic led the march.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 28, 2017 Public Servants Rally to Denounce the Phoenix Pay System HALIFAX, NS – Members of the Union of Veterans’ Affairs Employees (UVAE), a Component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), will rally to denounce the Phoenix Pay System as thousands of public servants continue to have pay issues.  They will bring their concerns to Andy Fillmore, Member of Parliament for Halifax. SJF Sponsorship program:  For Young Workers (18 – 35 years).   In addition to the subsidies provided to four young workers, the project is open to all PSAC members, who are able to cover their own expenses (see application for details). PSAC Social Justice Fund invites your members to participate in the next “Education In Action” project in Guatemala for 2 weeks in spring 2018.

Members of the NS Area Council 1 (Bill Kroeger, Glenn McMullin, Bill and Helen Zebedee, Rhonda Doyle-LeBlanc, Kelly Bush, Drake Clarke and Chris Di Liberatore) organized an information booth at the local farmers market to raise awareness on the Thirsty for Justice campaign.
