Members of UVAE Local 90001 protested Public Service Week by standing out the gates of the Employer’s BBQ passing out stickers. They also held a food drive and were visited by a reporter of the Guardian, our local newspaper, to take a photo of the food collected during their food drive that they will be donating to the Food Bank on Monday.

The New Brunswick Federation of Labour (NBFL) held it's 51st convention in Saint John in May 2013. PSAC National president, Robyn Benson was among the guests speakers and took the opportunity to cover a bit of history on the 100th anniversary of this labour movement.

Some members from the Greater Moncton Human Rights committee participated recently in a fundraising activity of the CNIB* where they experienced exceptional food, education and enjoyed a unique dining experience where they were blindfolded giving them the opportunity to rely solely on their sense of touch, taste and smell.
