The mandate of the Social Justice Fund (SJF) is to support initiatives in five priority areas:

1-Anti-poverty initatives in Canada;

2-Humanitarian assistance in Canada and around the world;

3-International labour development;

4-Worker-to-Worker exchange; and

5-Worker education.


In 2017, the SJF supported the following groups/projects in the Atlantic:

Colleen Coffey, Atlantic Regional Executive Vice-President for PSAC, presented the 2017 Scholarship Cheques to sons and daughters of PSAC members in the Atlantic Region.
 
Gabriel Gaudet, son of Denise LeBlanc (USJE);
Terrell Borden, son of Cora-Leigh Johnson (CEIU 80205); and
Aurianna McLaughlin, daughter of Lori McLaughlin (UNDE 60303)

As a member of PSAC – Atlantic Region, an Atlantic Canada Health Care Coalition Society (ACHCCS) participating group, you are eligible for the Managed Health Care Services preferred supplementary pharmacy benefit program.
