An information picket was held at St. Thomas University by PSAC/STUSAU members on Monday, January 19th.  PSAC members at St. Thomas University have been in negotiations for over 4 years with their employer, have recently voted to take strike action and are now awaiting news as to whether or not the employer will go back to the table.

A tentative agreement has been reached between the PSAC-UCTE 60601 and the Fredericton International Airport Authority pending finalization and signing of language

The 2015 PSAC Education Program (please note that the education schedule has been modified)  for the Nova Scotia  region is posted. Attached is the schedule for more information of the courses that are being offered for the period of January to June, 2015.

The Charlottetown Regional Office will be closed for the Holidays as of December 24th. We will resume normal business hours on Friday January 2, 2015.

On December 10th, members of the Greater Moncton PSAC Human Rights committee volunteered their time and energy to help the local food depot prepare Christmas boxes.  Over all, they helped packing 166 boxes that will be distributed to food banks around Moncton and Shediac this holiday season.

This Holiday Season we are doing a theme around "The Ghost of Bargaining Past". We have decorated our office tree with ornaments and ribbons outlining some of our past achievements in bargaining and sadly, some that are lost or threatened. Find attached the card we have mailed out to our Locals as well as the poem "Twas The Night Before Bargaining".

A symposium to explore the concept of stress as a compensable condition within the Worker's Compensation system was held on November 8 in Halifax.
